I was given the opportunity to sample some L’Oréal Perfect Cell Renewal Rosy Tone Moisturizing Cream in exchange for writing an honest review. I don’t normally do these types of reviews, but it’s winter in Wisconsin, and I’m not as young as I once was…and my skin shows it!
First, I was impressed with the packaging; a classy screw on gold lid on a glass jar. Simple, but solid. I get highly annoyed with products that have tiny openings that I’m supposed to navigate when my glasses are off and my sight is dim!
The information on how to use the product was not only on the box, but also on the jar itself. Surely I can’t be the only person who reads information on a box and then can’t remember it later when using the product?! Thankfully, L’Oréal understands that and placed the information on the jar.
The second thing I noticed was how rich the cream felt. I opened the jar and saw the light pink tinted cream. I carefully put my finger in and was surprised at how silky and thick it felt. The instructions said to apply every morning in circular motions on clean skin.
There was a very slight and distant floral scent, which was not overpowering. I am sensitive to perfumes, so I was a bit worried, but I never had any issues. The scent disappeared as I smoothed on the cream.
After using the cream for several weeks, my skin is noticeably softer and more hydrated. My skin was never sticky or oily, which was another concern for me. The cream absorbed very quickly into my skin, and I was able to immediately apply the rest of my makeup.
The rosy tint was supposedly to give my face a rosy glow, which I didn’t particularly notice, but the rest of the overall effect of the cream was impressive. I applied the cream around 5 in the morning, and my face was still soft and hydrated late into the evening without re-applying.
I have never tried L’Oréal Skin Products before, but after trying this Age Perfect Cell Renewal cream, I think I’m a new customer!
